Researcher Data Access Instructions

Scope and Process Overview

If you are a researcher with non-commercial purposes and wish to request access to Snapchat data in accordance with the Digital Services Act (DSA), you can submit your research request by using the DSA Data Access Portal which is maintained by the European Commission.

Once a Data Access Request has been submitted through the DSA Data Access Portal, the Request will be reviewed and vetted by the Dutch Digital Services Coordinator. Once approved the Request will be forwarded to Snap.

Please note that only Data Access Requests submitted through the above Portal and reviewed and approved by the Digital Services Coordinator will be processed.
