Welcome to our Specs Supplemental Privacy Policy. We’ve created this policy to provide additional information for individuals who pre-order SPECS (herein “SPECS”). This policy supplements, and is in addition to, our Privacy Policy and region specific notices and it explains how Specs Inc. and Snap Inc. (herein referred to as “Specs” or “we”), as joint controllers, collect, use, and share your data on SPECS.

Read the Washington and Nevada Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy for more details about how we handle “Consumer Health Data” under the Washington My Health My Data Act and the Nevada Health Privacy Act.

When you use SPECS, we collect information you provide to us, information we generate when you use SPECS, or other information we receive with your permission, including:

• Contact & Purchase information. To place your pre-order for SPECS, we collect information such as your name, contact information, and shipping address so we can ship the device to you, and payment information so we can process your payment.

• Camera & Fit Adjustment information. With your permission, we may collect information to estimate your head size during virtual try-on and recommend the appropriate SPECS size to help with physical comfort. To do this, the SPECS for iOS app processes your face data captured by the TrueDepth Camera. Your face data is used only during the sizing session, is not stored after the session ends, and is deleted at the end of each session. The only information retained is the final recommended or selected head size for your SPECS order. We do not share your face data with any third party. • Vision correction information. We will  collect information about whether you prefer vision correction for your SPECS. We do not collect your actual prescription details. Later, after your SPECS order is complete, we will direct you to our partner supplier’s website. There, you can decide whether to proceed with the order or decline prescription inserts. 
  

As described in our Privacy Policy, we use your information for various purposes beyond operating, delivering, and maintaining SPECS. For example, we use your information to personalize your SPECS, using your information like fit adjustments or information on whether you prefer vision correction lenses, we process your contact information to ship you the device and your payment information to complete the transaction. 

As described in our Privacy Policy, we share information about you with others for various reasons. For example, we may also share your information with our service providers.
