Information We Collect

This section provides more detail about the information you provide to us, information we generate, or other information we receive with your permission, including:

Account information: When you create an account with us you’ll provide us with account details (information about you, like your name, email address, date of birth, and phone number).

Information you provide to us when you pre-order SPECS AR glasses:

  • Order Information. To place your pre-order for SPECS AR glasses, we collect information such as your name, contact information, and shipping address so we can ship the device to you, and payment information so we can process your payment.

  • Camera & Fit Adjustment information. With your permission, we may collect information to estimate your head size during virtual try-on and recommend the appropriate size for your SPECS AR glasses to help with physical comfort. To do this, the SPECS for iOS app processes your face data captured by the TrueDepth Camera. Your face data is used only during the sizing session, is not stored after the session ends, and is deleted at the end of each session. The only information retained is the final recommended or selected head size for your order of SPECS AR glasses. We do not share your face data with any third party. For more information on how we process information about your face, please read here

  • Vision correction information. We will collect information about whether you prefer vision correction for your SPECS AR glasses. We do not collect your actual prescription details. If you prefer vision correction for your SPECS AR glasses we will connect you with a partner supplier where you will be able to separately purchase prescription lenses

Information we receive from Connected Accounts and information we generate when you use the preview SPECS Intelligence experience:

SPECS Intelligence is designed to connect with third-party applications and services that you choose to link to SPECS Intelligence (“Connected Accounts”). The preview SPECS Intelligence experience allows you to link your email or calendar accounts. We’ll use information ingested from Connected Accounts to generate an understanding of your goals, what needs your attention and what your week looks like. This experience will give you a glimpse of how SPECS Intelligence works.

You can disconnect a Connected Account at any time in settings. When you disconnect a Connected Account we’ll delete your ingested data and any generated content.

When you link to a Connected Account, we may access and process personal data from those Connected Accounts as necessary to provide you the preview SPECS Intelligence experience. We do not use personal data ingested from these third party data sources to train, fine-tune, or improve machine learning or artificial intelligence models. We share personal data ingested from Connected Accounts only with the following categories of service providers: (i) large language model providers which are prohibited from using it to train, fine-tune, or improve their machine learning or artificial intelligence models, and (ii) our cloud storage providers.
